Locked, loaded, and waiting

Yup. A week or two ago I finished all the requirements for my gun license (Possession Acquisition License) and sent it in to the government. Hopefully everything will be back in time for me to go hunting in November. I never really thought that I'd be doing this someday, but hey, why not? It's a lot easier than always trying to find someone with a license and hang out with them so you can hunt. Sort of.

But just so you're not too worried, I didn't get my license for Restricted Firearms (like handguns, etc). That would have been kind of cool, but realistically, the only way I'd ever need to use them is if I become a cop, and I'm pretty sure that they have their own training for guns. Plus it was extra money, so I just skipped it.
