Lombardi is gone?
Trade deadline day. Flames just (apparently) traded Matthew Lombardi, Brandon Prust (who?) and a 1st round pick for Olli Jokinen. While I'm pleased with the acquisition of Jokinen, I'm going to miss Lombardi. I always liked him. Hope he does well in Phoenix. And I hope this trade works out well for the Flames.

I think it will. Okkinnennnennnnnkkininnn...you know, the dude they traded for, has had his best success when being coached by Keenan (Keanan?)(everyone should be named Smith and identified by their clothing!), plus they got Leopold, who's been healthy this year and playing well. This is looking good for the Flames.
Too bad the Avs are fighting for the number one draft pick this year.

Yup. The other amazing thing is that the Panthers just might make it to the playoffs! Jeff won't know what to do.
